The Prototype is a project that was released right before Dope Pusher. Released as a "Pre-LP", The Prototype packs the quality of an actual LP. "Now We're Getting Somewhere", "G.S.D.", "Don't Start None" and "Deja Vu" highlight this standout project.

Released in 2005 as a bridge between the Collection Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 albums, The Collection Mixtape could be considered an album itself with all original production from Bay Root. Rose was in full swing of building Calvada Sound Company and adding artists to the fold. "Run Thru '05", "Let's Go" and "Follow ME" are standouts from this release.

Return of a Workaholic was released on April 20, 2006 as a side dish to his LP The Collection Vol. 2 which was released the same day. Return of a Workaholic finds Rose at home developing the style and lyrics that he has become known for.

Fresh off of the success of his first two releases, Lefty Rose puts together his first mixtape with Journal of a Workaholic. This is a light project that finds Rose having fun freestyling and creating the foundation for future releases.

The Scapegoats were a group that consisted of Lefty Rose, Omega, Uncle Jesse, Oryan and DJ Tyrant. The Goats had a nice 3 year run from 2001-2004 and this is the only project they ever released as a group. Recorded on a four track in a grimy Midtown Sacramento studio, this mixtape is a prime example of what the Scapegoats were about; fun, beer and good music. "Take'em Out The Park", "Reached Out", "Simple Truths" and "Stressed Out" are among the standouts from this 2003 release.
