The latest featured item of the week here at leftyrose.com is a record that I did a few years back with Ethik. "EZ Rock" is a tribute of sorts to DJ EZ Rock and Rob Base. Ethik flips the classic "It Takes Two" into a slowed down bumping banger. This was a fun record to do and show appreciation for the music we grew up on. One thing I try to hold on to as an artist is the feeling that made me fall in love with the music. "It Takes Two" was a record that stuck with me. YO! MTV Raps on the tube, VHS in the deck on record. I just wanted to try and re-create that same vibe. I feel we did the track justice.
