‪#‎throwbackthursday‬ to 2003. It was a glorious era in Sacramento Hip Hop. Music was just fun. Crews collaborated with one another on a regular basis. Back then I was in a group known as The Scapegoats. We had a solid following who eagerly waited for us to release music as a group. Although we never ended up recording a full length album, we did release They Did It Vol. 1. This project was super fun to record and put together. Studio sessions in a grimey basement recording on a four track mini disc recorder. Cheap beer. Trees. Hennessy and apple juice. I miss those days. It was all so simple then.
